Sauntering Verse offers a unique experience of creating Dadaist poetry based on your physical location. By simply taking your device for a walk, you can witness poetry materialize right before your eyes.
Each spot on earth corresponds to a specific combination of latitude and longitude coordinates. To simplify the process, what3words came up with a brilliant idea - assigning a distinctive combination of three words to approximately every 3x3 meter area across the globe. Just like latitude and longitude, these word combinations uniquely identify a point on the Earth's surface. Consequently, as you move around, you traverse through areas with their own exclusive word combinations, serving as the perfect inspiration for your poetic compositions.
The creation of Dadaist poetry has been famously described by Tristan Tzara, one of the Dada movement's founders. Tzara exhorted to take a pair of scissors, cut up a newspaper article, and then reassemble the random words into poetic lines.
Sauntering Verse follows this Dadaist spirit wholeheartedly when crafting poetry, offering interpretations that are both tied to your unique location and perpetually one-of-a-kind.
